Subject: [Jules-users] JULES vn5.3 now released

Dear all,

I’m pleased to announce the release of JULES vn5.3, which accompanies the release of UM vn11.2. Around 25 tickets were committed to the JULES trunk. Thank you to all that contributed Further details of highlights can be found in the release notes, which will be finalized in the next couple of days.

Apologies for the slight delay in the release. This was due to a bug specific to rose stem testing at the Met Office which has now been resolved.

Please start making use of the new version, and upgrade existing suites to take advantage of the various optimisations and bug fixes. Issues can be reported through the usual channels. Please consider using the JULES Yammer group before contacting the JULES support mailing list.

The developer window is now open for JULES vn5.4, with the release scheduled for the end of February 2019. Please use the vn5.3 keyword and not the um11.2 keyword.
