Subject: [Jules-users] Annual JULES meeting
Dear JULES users,
This year's annual JULES meeting has been delayed, but we do now have a time and place arranged. It will be held from mid-day on the 4th September to mid-day on the 6th September at Harper Adams University (HAU), jointly hosted by HAU and the Birmingham Institute of Forest Research (BIFoR).
Rob MacKenzie, BIFoR Director, has kindly agreed to host the meeting with Laura Vickers of HAU. There will be opportunities to visit HAU facilities and the BIFoR FACE field site during the meeting (details to follow). The Harper Adams University site is close to BIFoR FACE and so enables this chance for this visit. HAU offers a beautiful rural setting for a productive intellectual retreat; University accommodation, coach travel to/from HAU*, and meals have been arranged as part of an ‘all-in’ registration fee.
Registration will be through the university of Birmingham shop, so please look out for an announcement of how to register, coming very soon.
In the meantime, if you would like to present at the meeting this year, then please email me (email@example.com) with the title of your presentation so that we can start to put a programme together.
* Coaches will be provided from Stafford train station to HAU on the morning of the 4th and to Stafford on the afternoon of the 6th.
