Dear all JULES users and model developers,
We will be holding the JULES Open Science Meeting as an online event in the week September 7th to 11th.
To keep things sociable and diary-friendly, we will host 5 lots of 2-hour science meetings at the end of each day (3pm to 5pm) during the week.
Each day will be a different Theme (vegetation, hydrology, biogeochemistry) and include presentations, posters and time for chat.
To build the programme, please send me abstracts and preference for oral or poster presentation by the end of July.

PS the big international meeting that we had intended to host that week [international Land Surface Modelling Summit] is postponed by a year: Sept 2021.

Subject: [Jules-users] JULES meeting date 2020
The next JULES Science Meeting will be held in Oxford.
Dates: September 7-8th, 2020. Monday 10 am to Tuesday lunchtime.
(note JLMP management meeting 8:30 to 10 Monday).
This is designed to tie-in with a larger (invitation only) international meeting on Land Surface Modelling to be held in the same location 8th to 11 September. The JULES-only meeting will be on the Monday and we will join the larger meeting on the Tuesday for the morning plenary session and share the lunch with some of our posters on display.
I will email again to ask for abstracts etc in June. Until then, please put the dates in your diary.
